Near to the portion of the early 20th century, the NAACP helped the African Americans because they advocated for more social and political rights. One of the major reasons that many African Americans moved to the north, during The First World War because there were lots of job openings that gave African Americans the incentive to move north to make supplies for the soldiers such as guns, bullets, food, etc. Another reason that African Americans migrated to the north was the infestation of the boll weevil in Southern cotton farms was a push factor in the great migration. Many African Americans wanted to migrate to the north to escape racial discrimination in the south, centered around the Jim Crow segregation laws. What developments during World War I helped give rise to the Harlem Renaissance?
Many African Americans moved up to north for job opening during the first world war to help make supplies and guns for the white American soldiers fight in the war. But some African American soldiers fought segregationally in the world war, they were known as the "Harlem HellFighters" in the world war, but eventually came home as white citizens often did not respect their accomplishments. However, there were cause of the economics and job competition after the first world war.

Revered and inspirational leaders and eras like, Martin Luther King and the Civil Rights Movement, Nat Turner and the slave revolt, or Huey Newton and the Black Panther Party are all examples that led pride to stream through black art and culture of the Harlem Renaissance as it changed the meaning of art and poetry. The Harlem Renaissance forever left a mark on the evolution of the black culture.
What contributions did African Americans make in the fields of music, literature, and the arts?
Art took the form of small drums, quilts, wrought-iron figures, and ceramic vessels in the southern United States. The slaves tried to use stories and fables in the same way as they used music. These stories were influenced by the earliest African-American writers and poets of the 18th century such as Phillis Wheatley and Olaudah Equiano. These authors reached early high points by telling slave narratives. In the African oral traditions of music, nurtured within slavery, were encourage to use music to pass on the history, by teaching lessons, and ease suffering, and relay messages.
How did mass media, the birth and evolution of jazz, and the Harlem Renaissance create a new blend of American Culture?
Created a mixture of finding new ways that Blacks have became more likely to be involved in music, and developing music, and overall enhancing music. Jazz also showed that music reflected during the time of showing the fun attitude, and the new revolution of music during the time.
How did Marcuz Garvey's UNIA show an emergence of blacks asserting themselves?
Began the newspaper, called Negro World and denounced any white involvement in his ventures. He urged blacks to do for themselves, and criticized the N.A.A.C.P. as an interracial organization, but only involved to appeal in black working class, compete with white shipping lines and transport blacks to Africa, but his plans failed due to the poor money management.
